3. Service Access Requirements

To access our educational services:

Account and Access Terms

5. Account Creation Requirements

When creating an account with us:

  • 5.3 Use a valid email address for account verification and communications
  • 5.4 Agree to receive essential course-related communications

6. Account Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • 6.4 All activities that occur under your account credentials

7. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • 7.2 Non-payment of course fees or fraudulent payment activities
  • 7.3 Disruptive behavior affecting other students or instructors
  • 7.4 Extended periods of inactivity (6 months for free accounts)

8. Multiple Account Policies

Regarding multiple accounts:

  • 8.1 One account per person is generally permitted
  • 8.2 Corporate accounts may be created for organizational enrollments
  • 8.3 Notify us if you need to change your primary account
  • 8.4 Duplicate accounts created to circumvent restrictions will be terminated

Service Availability and Limitations

9. Service Uptime and Maintenance

Regarding service availability:

  • 9.1 We strive for 99% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
  • 9.2 Scheduled maintenance will be announced 48 hours in advance when possible
  • 9.3 Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice
  • 9.4 Alternative arrangements will be made for affected live sessions

10. Feature Availability

Service features may vary based on:

  • 10.1 Course enrollment level and payment status
  • 10.2 Technical capabilities of your device and internet connection
  • 10.3 Geographic location and local regulations
  • 10.4 Beta features may be limited to select users

11. Service Modifications and Updates

We reserve the right to:

  • 11.1 Modify, suspend, or discontinue any service feature with notice
  • 11.2 Update course content and curriculum based on industry developments
  • 11.3 Change pricing for future enrollments with 30 days notice
  • 11.4 Improve security measures and technical infrastructure

Intellectual Property

12. Content Ownership

Intellectual property rights are distributed as follows:

  • 12.1 Course materials, videos, and curriculum remain property of GameDev Academy
  • 12.2 Student-created projects and code belong to the respective students
  • 12.3 Third-party tools and libraries maintain their original licenses
  • 12.4 Academy branding and logos may not be used without permission

13. License Grants

By enrolling in our courses:

  • 13.1 You receive a personal, non-transferable license to access course materials
  • 13.2 Materials may be used for personal learning and portfolio development
  • 13.3 Commercial redistribution of course content is prohibited
  • 13.4 Access rights continue for 2 years after course completion
